Logan Paul has been a controversial figure for the majority of his career. After having a lackluster run as the United States Champion and losing his title to LA Knight, the YouTuber-turned-wrestler has seemingly dipped his toes in another new beef. This time with former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.
Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul referred to the Punisher as “dead weight.” Paul said that he doesn’t like him for what he sees. The YouTuber revealed that his fiance, Nina Agdal, called him a ‘Priest’ during their wedding proposal. Ever since then, he has developed an animosity for the former Judgment Day member in WWE.
Let’s be honest, Damian’s dead weight. Just how I see it, I’m sorry I didn’t mean it like that. - Bro, it hurt so bad, I think it hurt him worse. I hold grudges, and I am a hater. I’m a hater, and I’m proud, and I don’t f*ck with Damian Priest.Logan Paul via Impaulsive
Moreover, the former United States Champion disclosed that his grudges against the Archer of Infamy began at Money in the Bank 2023. He remembered a spot where he was supposed to deliver a splash to Priest onto the ladder. However, it turned into a botch, leading to both stars suffering minor injuries. The Social Media Megastar claimed to be a hater.
This statement even surprised Dominik Mysterio, who was addressing his time in The Judgment Day. As mentioned above, Paul recently lost the United States Championship and has been looking for his next step in WWE. With that said, it wouldn’t be surprising if he engages in a feud with a star like Damian down the line amid many other controversies around him.
Logan Paul talked about his ban in Japan
Logan Paul has been accused of being banned in Japan following his controversial video back in 2019. Recently, Dominik Mysterio also asked him a similar question on Impaulsive. After being bumped by the same statement on so many occasions, Maverick has finally addressed this sensitive issue once and for all.
Speaking on his podcast, the former United States Champion stated that he is not banned from Japan. He added that he had made a promise that he would only go to the country if he was invited. Paul confirmed that he didn’t take part in WWE’s recent tour due to prior obligations, citing that he would consider going again if the company invited him.
Yes, I can go to Japan. […] I’ve never said this before, but my rule was if I went back, I’d like to be invited back. I haven’t gotten the invite yet.Logan Paul via Impaulsive
In December 2017, Paul posted a controversial video while visiting the infamous suicide forest in Japan. His YouTube channel was on the verge of termination back then. However, somehow it got saved. Unsurprisingly, The Maverick has not been welcomed with open arms to Japan ever since.
